DEF JAM SAYS THEY DON'T HAVE A RELEASE DATE FOR YOUNG JEEZY'S TM 103!

After Young Jeezy fans breathed in exhile over the rapper's long-awaited Thug Motivation 103 album finally getting a release date last week, Def Jam has denied the projected drop date.

According to a Def Jam label rep, a release date has not yet been finalized.

Last week, there were reports that the release of Jeezy's project, too, was imminent. However, a rep for Def Jam has confirmed to XXL that no such date has been set. When reached for comment, a rep for Def Jam responded, "We do not have a date for Jeezy yet." (XXL Mag)
Over the weekend, reports claimed a late July release was scheduled for Jeezy's upcoming LP.

Young Jeezy fans rejoice. After a series of delays, the Atlanta rapper has finally set a solid release date for his oft-delayed album Thug Motivation 103. Jeezy's fourth studio LP is scheduled to drop on July 26, Rap-Up.com has learned. TM103's release coincides with the sixth anniversary of his debut Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101. (Rap-Up)
Last week, Jeezy officially announced his project's completion.

"#TM103 Is Done!!! The Summer Will Be Crazy!!!," Jeezy tweeted Wednesday (May 18). (Young Jeezy's Twitter)
Earlier this month, Jeezy released a new collaborative record called "Stripes" featuring newly signed Corporate Thugz Entertainment rapper Freddie Gibbs.

"We definitely talkin' about the same gangsta topics, but I think that day we were bumpin' some Run-DMC so we got into that stripe mode," Gibbs said about the track, which was inspired by the popular 1980s rap group. The record was produced by Lodi, a beatmaker from Memphis who Jeezy has recently took under his wing. "He one of the coldest in the game right now and he's doin' a lot of work with CTE and we're ready to get it in...The main thing, really, was my admiration I had for Jeezy and the respect I had for him...It definitely wasn't about the money or any of that. I looked at what he does musically and what I do musically and I thought that he could take it to the next level." (MTV)
