BROOKLYN PIZZA MAKER GETS 5 YEARS IN JAIL FOR KIDDIE PORN!

A federal judge reluctantly sentenced a Brooklyn pizza maker - who was raped as a child - to five years in prison on Thursday for having kiddie porn.

Peter Polizzi, 56, lashed out at prosecutors as he got the sentence, which was ordered by an appeals court.

"I'm not an abuser, I'm a victim!" he cried. "You want to put me in jail, fine, but I'm not a criminal."

Judge Jack Weinstein had tried to cut Polizzi a break by giving him a one-year jail stint. The U.S. Court of Appeals demanded the mandatory five years.

Polizzi, the owner of a pizzeria in Bushwick and the father of five children, declined to appeal the tougher sentence but went out swinging.

"My childhood life was taken from me," he said. "Every single day of my life I ask myself, 'Why did this have to happen to me?'"

During his trial, Polizzi testified in graphic detail that he was raped as a child in Sicily by an uncle, a family friend and two police officers.

The jury rejected his insanity defense built on the argument that he was searching for himself among images of sexually abused children he viewed on his home computer.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Allen Bode accused Polizzi of shedding crocodile tears.

"He's hiding behind real victims of sex abuse," Bode said. "Mr. Polizzi should be ashamed of himself."

The prosecutor noted that Polizzi couldn't have expected to find his own photo among the many images of "little girls" he trolled through in his monthly porn purchases.

Polizzi's wife, Anna, who is suffering from cancer, thanked Weinstein for understanding that "not everything is black and white."

And the judge got in a poke at the feds, allowing Polizzi to self-surrender to prison over the prosecutor's objection.
