IN THE STREETS & ON THE WEB

Now Jay-Z’s got 100 problems.

A Miami-based boxing promoter is suing the rapper’s Roc Nation Sports company for allegedly freezing him out of an historic fight between two Olympic gold medalists at Madison Square Garden this weekend.

Junior lightweight champ Vasyl Lomachenko will defend his title on Saturday against Guillermo Rigondeaux. It’ll be the first time that two double Olympic gold medalists will face off in the ring.

Caribe Promotions signed on as Rigondeaux’s exclusive promoter in 2009, but later agreed to share those responsibilities with Roc Nation because of the company’s “broad media and advertising platform,” according to court papers.

Then this fall Roc Nation hatched the deal for the Garden fight with a third promoter, Top Rank, without telling Caribe, the suit says.

Roc Nation also dropped Caribe’s name from promotional materials and refused to give the Florida promoter tickets to the event or attendance at press conferences, the filing states.

Caribe’s Vice President Luis Fonseca says in court papers that the freeze out is in response to his refusal to pay for $108,000 in expenses related to another fight in June. But, he says, he never warned about the costs.

Fonseca’s asking the judge to force Roc Nation to share promotional perks for Saturday’s bout.

Don't mess with Jay Z ……
