Adam Venit Responds To Terry Crews Sexual Harassment Lawsuit

Hollywood agent Adam Venit has filed a formal response to actor Terry Crews' lawsuit alleging sexual harassment.

Venit issued a general denial and said it was a case of no harm, no foul, according to documents obtained by Us Weekly on Friday.

Crews accused Venit, a top agent with William Morris Endeavor, of groping his genitals in the middle of a party in 2016.

Venit also claims in his response to the lawsuit that the 49-year-old "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" star won't win the case because he did not suffer any injury and the conduct was not sexual in nature.

Sources told Us Weekly that Venit had too much to drink the night of the party and his groping behavior was just "horseplay," which he apologized for the next day.

Crews filed the lawsuit in December in Los Angeles Superior Court seeking monetary and punitive damages for assault, battery, sexual battery, sexual harassment, gender violence and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

After women started coming forward with accusations against Harvey Weinstein, Crews tweeted about his own experience.

"This whole thing with Harvey Weinstein is giving me PTSD. Why? Because this kind of thing happened to me."

He later told Michael Strahan on "Good Morning America" that he had "never felt more emasculated, more objectified."

Venit was suspended from WME for one month before returning to work.
