50 Cent's New Mixtape Called "The Kanan Tape"

After teasing fans by announcing an upcoming mixtape a few days ago, 50 takes the next step by letting people get a look at the cover art for the project. Fif recently took to Instagram to show off the art work for his forthcoming mixtape, The Kanan Tape. The cover is a black-and-white drawing of the Queens rap mogul rocking a pulled down skully. A piece of white tape at the bottom displays the words The Kanan Tape in a hand-drawn font. Jackson also reveled more information about the project, though he still failed to nail down a released date. “COVER ART 8 tracks. Coming soon,” he posted.

50 initially announced the title of the tape earlier this week during a series of hilarious IG posts. Back in August, he entertained the idea of dropping a mixtape before his upcoming album Street King Immortal drops next year. During an Internet chat with fans, Fif previewed a new song called “Pussy So Good” then remarked, “I got this record out there.

I’m not gonna play the whole thing though cause I ain’t gonna get to y’all. That might be on my tape. I might put a tape out in the next couple weeks, depending on how much noise… I don’t know.”

Kanan of course refers to the rapper’s role on his hit cable TV series Power which continues to break records.

In related news, Fif recently blessed battle rapper Hitman Holla’s mother’s cancer foundation with a cool $10K. Jackson’s grandmother Beulah Jackson passed after a battle with cancer in 2014. “The only lost on my record is to cancer my Nana was the love of my life, but @hitmanholla mom is gonna Win the rematch for me,” 50 typed under a picture of his donation on Instagram.
