According to GateCrasher: EMINEM AND 50 CENT’S performance at SXSW was all business. An insider at the March 17 show in Austin, Tex., tells us there was a “weird vibe” and “very little interaction” between the heavyweight rappers during both rehearsal and performance. At the show, Fiddy performed his groundbreaking 2003 album, “Get Rich or Die Tryin’,” in its entirety for the first time. Eminem, who with Dr. Dre was an executive producer on the album, joined 50 Cent onstage on “Patiently Waiting” and the encore. According to the source, Eminem did not wait to see Fiddy finish the show and opted for an early exit, as he did when they rehearsed. The spy says the practice session “was straight rehearsal” with “no joking around.” Fiddy’s spokeswoman responds: “There is no truth to this. Eminem and 50 Cent are friends.” She adds that the rappers have done a song together for 50’s new album. “As a matter of fact, she says, “they are practicing for their next performance.”
