IN THE STREETS & ON THE WEB

50 Cent will not be on Chris Brown’s Party tour. 50 Cent backed out of the tour after he and promoter Live Nation were unable to come to an agreement on his price point, according to TMZ.

The veteran MC originally came to a deal with Brown’s camp and was set to be a guest on the tour. The situation changed when it was time to sign his contract. Sources close to the tour said 50 and Live Nation were “hundreds of thousands of dollars apart.” The two sides tried to negotiate a deal, but 50 broke off the talks two weeks ago.

The G-Unit rapper commented on TMZ’s report via his Instagram account. 50 felt the outlet’s headline was misleading.

“I would never say my friends can’t afford me,” he wrote. “This run wasn’t handled correctly, I’m still on set filming Den of Thieves.”

Brown’s tour will now feature a supporting lineup of Fabolous, Kap G and O.T. Genasis. Check out all of the “Privacy” singer’s tour dates below.
