A group of Harlem gangsters were arrested when they boasted about their illegal activities on social media networks. Some of their comments were lyrics to songs from Rick Ross and Meek Mill. According to an indictment released earlier today, members of Air It Out, True Money, Whoaday and the True Money Bosses took to Twitter, Facebook and YouTube to coordinate their…
The NYPD collared some 30 protesters Friday - including Princeton University prof Cornel West - during a Harlem demonstration against police stop-and-frisks, not Wall Street greed. Hundreds gathered outside of the 28th Precinct stationhouse in Harlem Friday afternoon in a show of opposition to the NYPD's rampant use of the controversial tactic.… Continue
A man wielding a knife and wearing a bloody eye patch repeatedly stabbed a homeless man in the neck Monday on an East Harlem street as cops drew their guns and kids watched in horror. The violent lunchtime knifing on Lexington Ave. and E. 103rd St. was captured on a witness' iPhone video camera and shows the incredible restraint cops took not blow… Continue
Afrika Owes was a star in her Harlem neighborhood, a smart girl who earned her way into an exclusive prep school.
Her future was filled with promise - until earlier this week, when the promising teen got caught up with a group of Harlem gangbangers and swept up by police.
The stunning arrest - a shock to many who knew her - left neighbors and friends… Continue

A barely-clothed 3-year-old girl was found Tuesday morning wandering the streets of upper Manhattan, police said.
Kadiras Camara was walking alone along W. 127th St. near Morningside Ave. about 2:30 a.m. when a passerby saw her and called 911, cops said.
The child had apparently slipped out of her family's nearby apartment just a few minutes… Continue
Detectives are investigating how a Harlem teen who dreamed of becoming a music teacher wound up dead in a snowbank outside a building in the Abraham Lincoln Houses, police said.
A passerby spotted the snow-covered body of Gregory Willis Jr., 17, on Sunday morning - four days after his family reported him missing to police, cops said.
Cops are hunting a man who was captured on surveillance video in Harlem on Wednesday - pulling a suitcase with a dead woman stuffed inside.
A passerby opened the suitcase minutes later on E. 114th St. and a leg popped out. He took off running into a nearby restaurant.

Rolling Stone has already named Kanye West's "Christmas in Harlem" one of the greatest rock and roll songs ever for the holiday - even though the tune was released just last week.
The music mag gave Kanye his props - even though the Chicago rapper is not from New York. Some gave Kanye a credibility pass because he hooked up with Cam'ron,… Continue
A passerby made a grisly discovery in Harlem Wednesday morning -- the body of a dead woman stuffed inside a suitcase, police said.

Police haven't released the woman's identity. She had a… Continue
Harlem world rapper Huddy Combs (no relation to Diddy) died yesterday in a car accident. Apparently he was driving on the George Washington Bridge with a female and his car hit a tractor trailer truck. He was dead at the scene of the accident. Diddy tweeted about it too. From what I heard, Huddy was a best friend of Cam and Mase from back in the days. He was the dude that got Cam’ron to the hospital when he got shot in 2005. He was also a rapper in… Continue
Vado (for those that may not know) is Cam'Ron's new artist. On Friday, he was out in the streets on Fredrick Douglas Ave., on 142st, in Harlem, according to my sources. Apparently, two bald dudes stepped to him over something right in the streets in front of everybody. Nobody could hear what was going on, but their hands were making a lot of movement, leading people to think there was something going on. Apparently, Vado wasn’t feeling where they were… Continue
Controversial R&B star Chris Brown has a surprising new gig - reading to kids at a Harlem charter school.
Despite his conviction for beating up Rihanna at a pre-Grammy party last year, the "Run It" singer was invited to Sisulu-Walker Charter School's annual "Family Read Night."
"I extended an invitation to all celebrities and politicians, and we had an acceptance by him," said principal Dawn Cejas, who added the evening was… Continue
A 9-year-old New Jersey boy was stabbed to death in a Harlem housing project early Saturday while visiting relatives, police and family said.
About 3:30 a.m., the child knocked on the door of his uncle's room in the Grant Houses and collapsed with a chest wound.
"Uncle, uncle, I've been stabbed," he said.
Paramedics rushed the boy to St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital but he couldn't be saved. His grief-stricken mother identified… Continue
